Eventhough I'm known for my creative marketing and technology work, my formal education and personal passion is truly in the Arts. Drama, Film, Photography and (most of all) Music. Since I was six years old I have been playing piano. At around 15 years old, after trying to invent my own version of multi-tracking with casette tapes, my parents purchased me my first synth (Clavinova). I've been noodling away ever since! Got my Bachelor's in piano performance, theory and composition and a Master's in film music.
I've been fortunate enough to write for all kinds of platforms. TV-Film-Corporate-Gaming, pretty much everything. For a short while I even played in a band, which I got to say was a lot of serious fun. (Cole Guerra)
I mostly play by ear - blame Suzuki - and compose through trial, error and improvisation. I wish I could say I can grab paper and start writing scores, but it doesn't happen that way for me. I literally sit at a keyboard and figure stuff out. (All my professors over the years would put me into a headlock right about now.)
